Annamae Gilman

BARRE—Annamae Gilman, 73, formerly of Randolph and South Royalton, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

She was born in East Braintree, the daughter of Everett L. and Inez (Stevens) Hoyt.

She was raised in East Braintree and attended schools there. She also attended Randolph High School and graduated from Bennington High School. She had lived in Randolph and South Royalton before moving to Barre in 1983. She enjoyed reading and walking. She was a member of the Barre Area Senior Center.

Survivors include her son, Jay Gilman and his wife, Karen, of Roxbury; her daughter, Lynn Gilman of Roxbury; two brothers, Everett Hoyt and wife, Joan, of East Braintree; and Pearl Hoyt and his wife, Linda, of Graniteville; and six grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and a brother, Jerry Hoyt.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 20 at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph with Rev. Ronald E. Rilling officiating. Shirley Baumann was the organist. Private burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph.
