Endorsement For Bob Wolffe

Here's a candidate who bases his interests in common sense. Who could argue with common sense?

What would make him stand out among others? Belief in God and country. Understanding that our U.S. Constitution was written by the people and for the people. Understanding that our government is not our master, but in fact, we the people, are its master.

Common sense. Like following the 10 Commandments. A sensible path for living well. Who can go wrong if they live their life by them? The golden rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. A simple rule to understand.

Our government should recognize that each person owns his own life and property, and has the right to make his own choices as to how he lives his life—as long as he simply respects the same right of others to do the same.

Our American heritage is based on our love of liberty, patriotism, and honest work to build a future for ourselves and our families. It's the idea that being free and independent is a great way to live. That all of us are unique individuals, with great potential. We should practice tolerance on social and lifestyle issues. We may not all agree, but we own and are responsible for our own lives and property, and should have the right to live as peacefully as the next guy.

It’s all common sense. We don’t need the government to become so large a part of our lives as to stifle us from our most basic needs—freedom and the right to live our lives as we see fit with as little government interference as possible.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness … That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed … That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

If this excerpt from The U.S. Declaration of Independence sounds like common sense to you, and if you believe these words are that of sound thought and ideas, then you now have a better understanding of what Bob Wolffe stands for.

This is my endorsement letter for my husband, Bob Wolffe, running for state representative as a Republican/Libertarian, for the Orange-Addison 1 District, which includes Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield, and Granville.

Honesty and fairness is what Bob is all about. His sincere interest in people and his intense interest in politics make him the perfect choice to speak for all of us in this district.
