Robert D. Holman

PEORIA, ILL.—Robert D. (Bob) Holman, 81, died Dec. 13, 2005 at a hospital in Peoria, Ill.

He was born Sept. 6, 1924 in Warren,Mich.; the socond son of Leonard and Mildred Holman. At an early age, he moved with his family to Randolph, where he graduated from Randolph High School at the age of 16 in 1940.

He worked for Hank Greenburg at a local parts store, before getting called up for active duty in the army. He was stationed for two years in Tehran, Iran, as a member of the Military Police. He attended Beaudoin College in Maine.

He is survived by one brother, Carroll Holman of Randolph; and sisters: Shirley Graziano of Randolph Center; Bernice Smith of Schylerville, N.Y.; Joan Kingbury of South Burlington; and Nancy Spitler of Upland, Calif.

He was predeceased by his father, mother, two brothers, Russell and Charlie; and one sister, Katie.
