Randolph Skating Rink
Busier than Ever
 | | BEEP! BEEP! Local kids enjoying the Randolph ice rink this week included four year old Maury Smith, who had a great time staying upright with the aid of stacked milk crates, as did his seven-year-old sister, Cecile, in the background. For more about the rink, see the local section of this issue. (Herald / Tim Calabro) Martha 1 |

The Randolph community skating rink opened before Christmas this year for the first time in a long time and has been a magnet for Randolph youngsters all through the Christmas vacation.
The day to day operations of the Randolph Ice Rink are run by the Boys & Girls Club, with the club’s full-time employee Kelly Mitchell in charge of managing the skating rink, as well as the town pool, and other community events throughout the year.
Tom Morgan is the rink’s ice maker.
Open skating time at the rink is Monday through Thursday from 2:30-5 p.m., Friday from 2:30-9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
There are also hockey and broom ball programs for all ages.
Skate rentals (both figure and hockey), season and daily passes, and group rates are available at a modest cost.
Call the rink at 728-4647 for more information.
