Green Up Day In Rochester

The White River Partnership’s Upper River Stream Team and the Town of Rochester are collaborating this year on Green Up Day activities, Saturday, May 5, beginning at 10 a.m.

Everyone is asked to meet in the Rochester School parking lot to help clean up our town. Bring plastic grocery bags (additional bags will be available courtesy of Larry Curtis at the Store of Rochester) or a large pail for collecting trash, gloves (if you’d like), a community spirit and a positive attitude. Wear sturdy shoes and bright clothing.

Please make sure there is at least one adult for every four children in your group. When each group returns with a full bag of trash, the kids will be signed up for free "creemies," courtesy of the Skip Mart, the W.R. Partnership and Walt Wells.

For more information about Rochester’s Green Up Day, call co-coordinators Terry Paquette (767-3296) and Walt Wells (767-3785), or Natalie Sattler of the White River Partnership at 767-4600.
